Scope and Duration of Warranty
Arameos grants an international warranty on your timepiece for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery.Specifically covered are:
- The movement (precision and functionality).
- The case and the dial.
- The hands.
Our Services
Should a defect covered by this warranty occur within the warranty period, Arameos undertakes, at its sole discretion, to:
- Repair the defective part free of charge.
- Replace the timepiece with an identical or comparable model if a repair is not feasible.
Exclusions (What is not covered)
The Arameos warranty focuses on technical defects. The following are strictly excluded from the warranty:
- Normal wear and tear and ageing: Scratches on the case, bezel, metal bracelet, or crystal. Colour changes or wear of non-metal straps (leather, textile, rubber), as well as the natural wearing off of coatings (e.g., PVD).
- Improper handling: Damage resulting from accidents, impacts, or falls (e.g., broken glass, dents, or deformation of the case), as well as failure to observe the instruction manual.
- Water damage: If the crown was not fully screwed down or pushed in, or if the watch was used beyond its certified water resistance.
- Unauthorised intervention: Any maintenance or repair carried out by third parties not authorised by Arameos will result in the immediate voiding of the warranty.
Limitation of Liability & Statutory Rights
This manufacturer’s warranty is granted independently of, and is in addition to, any statutory consumer rights you may have under the applicable national laws governing the sale of consumer goods. Such rights are not affected by this warranty.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any further claims against Arameos, particularly for damages not covered by this warranty, are expressly excluded. Arameos’ liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the watch. Arameos shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or losses of any kind resulting from the stoppage or malfunction of the watch (such as loss of time, travel expenses, or other financial losses), except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Activation of the Warranty
For your warranty claim to be valid, the Arameos warranty card provided at the time of purchase must:
- Be completed in full.
- Bear the date of purchase and the official stamp of an authorised Arameos retailer.
- Be submitted together with the watch in the event of a claim
Alternatively, the original purchase receipt from the retailer may also be provided.
Service Process / Aftersales Management
If your watch requires service or repair, our authorised concessionaires are entirely at your disposal. If you choose to send your watch by post, please ensure that you arrange for adequate transit insurance.
